The wonderful world of twitter - The Twitter Pitch

It's one thing to be able to pitch your story in an elevator or in 140 words, but try twitter style, 140 characters. With the growing rate of people joining twitter daily (over a quarter million, last time I checked), twitter is reaching the world and connecting people that otherwise would not even talk. All walks of life are on twitter and can communicate with things called hashtags or just by mentioning someone.Enter the "Twitter Pitch." Can you explain your book in 140 characters? Can you explain it so that it will grab people and they will want to read it? I think all writers should practice this as an exercise, whether or not you are on twitter. 140 characters, try it. Let me know if you try the exercise,  or share the link to your twitter pitch in a comment.
